About

Frontiers of Social Sciences  (FSS) (Print ISSN: -; Online ISSN: -)  is a journal that was established on the proposal of Professor Ju Chunhua from Zhejiang Gongshang University. It is supported by the School of Statistics and Data Science at Zhejiang Gongshang University and is published by HIEP Press in Hong Kong.  The journal is dedicated to establishing itself as a leading international publication in the field of measurement and evaluation. Experts and scholars from over 60 renowned universities and research institutions worldwide serve as members of its Editorial Board. 

FSS operates a rigorous peer-review process and accepts submissions in both Chinese and English. It is tentatively planned as a quarterly journal, publishing four issues per year, and will release its first issue in 2026. The electronic version will be available for free download on the journal's website early next year. The sole email address for submissions is: fssjournal@126.com.

Scope and Topics 

FSS  covers both traditional social science fields, such as Sociology and Social Work, Political Science and International Relations, Economics and Management, Law and Public Administration, Education and Psychology, Journalism and Communication, and Information Resources Management, as well as interdisciplinary and cutting-edge fields, including Computational Humanities, Digital Social Sciences, Artificial Intelligence and Social Sciences, Health Social Sciences, and Global and Regional Studies.

Open Access Policy

JME is a fully open access journal that provides immediate and permanent free access to all published content for all users worldwide without requiring any article processing charges (APCs) or subscription fees. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing unrestricted sharing, distribution, and reuse with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal publishing rights. We support responsible scholarly sharing by permitting authors to deposit preprints in any repository without embargo and postprints immediately upon publication. This sustainable model maintains the highest standards of peer review and editorial quality while eliminating financial barriers to knowledge dissemination.
